Horse riding at Embassy Riding School

Today we went horse riding at Embassy Horse Riding School in Bangalore. It was fabulous - the 3 of us went for an hour ride out thought the 'forest' (I'd say more of a big paddock with trees but was fine just the same).  Max rode Muffin (a very apt name for our hubgry little man) who was a 25 year old pony. Jack rode Appache who was a 12 year old paint pony, and I was on Starlight who was a 3 year old paint horse.

Safety is their number one priority which was great, especially when you don't know the horses or the area you're riding in. So for today, we were all led by hand by 3 young guys. I did get their names but won't embarrass myself by trying to write them down.

The hour ride was under $40 - so a tip to each of the guys was well worth it!

Afterwards there was a big trampoline for the boys to play on. And whilst playing Jack finally lost the tooth that has been wobbly since we arrived in India - saved me the job of pulling it out tonight.

Another plus side to the riding school is that it's attached to the boys new school, and they can choose riding as an extra curricular activity if they wish. Excellent!
